The slope of the ladder
The single hour is, by design, the dearest way to spend time with a companion. Two hours come to £1,100 rather than twice £600, three to £1,500, and ten hours overnight to £3,000, roughly half the hourly figure for each hour. The house would rather you booked the evening you actually want than watched the clock through a shorter one. There is no supplement for a late start, a Sunday or a request made at short notice.
What a fee covers
Her time, from the minute she arrives until the minute agreed, and her company for all of it. Her journey, too, wherever you are within the two central fare zones, by day or by night; every street on the St James's page or along Piccadilly sits deep inside Zone 1. On this ladder, fees are for time and companionship only. Ask for more and the evening closes there, with the fee kept.
What it does not cover is the evening's own bill: the table, the tickets, the car home. Those fall to you as host, exactly as they would for any friend you invited.
Beyond the second zone
Kingston, a house near Ascot, a country hotel for the night: all can be arranged. Octavia prices the taxi there and back and writes it beside the fee as one total, which you see before anything is fixed. For Heathrow and Gatwick the minimum is three hours, with her time on the road inside it, and fee and fare arrive as a single figure.
Cancelling, moving, running late
With three hours' notice or more, an evening can be cancelled or moved and nothing is owed. Inside the final two hours before she is due, half the agreed fee applies, and if she arrives to find no one there and no message, the whole of it does. She allows fifteen minutes past the agreed time; after that, Octavia rearranges the evening with you rather than let it run late and short. Should the house ever have to cancel, you owe nothing, and you are told the moment Octavia knows.

Replace the brackets and send it; the reply names the companion, the arrival time and the fee in pounds, and the room number can wait until then. The booking page covers the one check that follows, and the introductions are there if you would rather choose by name first.

Ask OctaviaBecause the list is small and every introduction is arranged by hand. Octavia has met each companion, reads each message herself and matches one person to one evening, and the hour already includes her journey anywhere in the centre. The figure is identical whether you choose by name or leave the choice to her.
Four hours at £1,800, set well below four single hours so that a proper dinner never feels hurried. The table is booked and paid for by you, as host, and your companion dresses for whichever room you choose, from a grill on Jermyn Street to a Mayfair dining room.
£6,000 is the floor, not the quote. Tell Octavia where you mean to go, for how many nights and what the days are to hold. She puts the plan to the companion you have in mind and returns one total, in writing, before a ticket or a room is reserved.
Airport hotels take a booking of three hours or longer, and the time she spends on the road is counted inside it. As both airports lie well beyond Zone 2, the taxi fare is added, and Octavia sends fee and fare together as one figure for you to accept or decline.
Because nothing worth arranging fits into thirty minutes. The shortest introduction is one hour, which leaves room for a drink, a conversation and a courteous goodbye. Nor is anything priced on top of any length: the ladder is complete as printed.
Your companion does, in person, when she arrives and before the evening begins. It passes privately from you to her, never through a hotel desk or a restaurant bill, and it is the exact figure Octavia confirmed in writing.
