About Albemarle Privé, a house that introduces rather than advertises

Albemarle Street is short, old and quietly serious: a hotel of panelled rooms, a lecture theatre behind a row of columns, a few gallery doors that never advertise. It says little and means what it says, which is the manner this house wanted for itself.

The name was chosen for that reason, and because most of the evenings we arrange begin within a few minutes' walk of it, on the street itself or across Piccadilly in St James's. Other districts are covered on identical terms; these are simply the ones we know best.

Octavia is the concierge. She reads every message, replies in writing and knows each companion by more than her portraits, so she makes one suggestion at a time rather than sending a list. She can be reached on WhatsApp and on Telegram at every hour. There is no switchboard, because correspondence keeps an arrangement exact.

Her replies are brief and complete: a name, an hour, a fee. When nobody on file suits the evening you describe, she says so plainly rather than offer whoever happens to be free.

She approaches the house herself; no one is recruited through an intermediary. Octavia meets her in person, sees her identification and confirms that she is an adult entitled to work in Britain. Thereafter she keeps her own hours, receives her own fee, and may alter or withdraw her file whenever she likes. Nobody negotiates on her behalf: no agent, no manager, no go-between.

The list therefore changes slowly. A file comes down when a companion steps away, and no file stays up merely to fill the page.

Portraits are glamour and lifestyle photography, each face softened and free of nudity, and every set is compared with the woman herself before it appears. When a likeness drifts, the portraits come down. Notes from guests are published only when genuine: first name and month, moderated for discretion, never invented and never bought. It receives no one; every introduction is outcall, to the hotels and residences described in the London areas. It publishes no service lists, no priced extras and nothing explicit. It does not mark every companion as available all day, claim a founding year, invent awards or quote numbers of guests. It sends no newsletters and never writes to a guest first. Each fee buys time and companionship alone, and no page suggests otherwise.

Guests are expected to be courteous, truthful about the address and sober enough to enjoy the evening. Companions arrive on time, well presented and discreet. A companion who feels unsafe or pressured may leave, and the house supports her without question.
