Cookies: a declaration, short because there is little to declare

Updated 19 September 2026

Albemarle Privé sets no cookies: none strictly necessary, none for preferences, none for analytics. A visit leaves your browser as it found it, apart from the single request described below.

01 // clause

Stored on your device

Nothing. No cookies, and nothing written to local or session storage. The small scripts that run here, a clock set to London time, the filters on the introductions, the copy button beside the draft message, hold nothing once the tab is closed.

02 // clause

Measured about your visit

Nothing. No analytics package, no pixel from an advertiser or social network, no embedded map and no video player supplied by another company. The house does not know which pages you read, or for how long.

03 // clause

Sent to another company

One request. Three typefaces, Syncopate, Manrope and Geist Mono, load from Google Fonts, which means Google sees your IP address and routine browser information each time a page opens, and handles them under its own policy. According to Google, the font service itself places no cookies.

04 // clause

WhatsApp and Telegram

The two message buttons are ordinary hyperlinks. WhatsApp and Telegram hear nothing from this site unless you press one, at which point that company's own privacy terms take over. The draft message holds brackets, never your details.

05 // clause

Consent

Because nothing optional is stored or measured, there is nothing to ask permission for, and so no banner. Were visitor statistics ever introduced, they would remain switched off until you chose otherwise, with declining given equal weight, and this declaration would be revised beforehand. The privacy notice covers everything else.
